1. How can I place an order?
    You can check out our new shop to have your favorite treats delivered anywhere in the United States. If you are local and want to place an order, you can contact us by phone or through the email form.
  2. Do you make cakes?
    Sorry, we do not make cakes. Midwest Treats focuses mainly on cookies and cupcakes and occasionally offers other treats such as brownies, bars, and chocolate treats. However, we do offer Tres Leches Cakes and Specialty Cookie Cakes upon request.
  3. Do you offer decorated sugar cookies?
    At this time we do not offer decorated sugar cookies. However, we do offer sugar cookie kits, sugar cookie pouches with icing, and occasionally a simply decorated sugar cookie (usually on a card). There are many people offering decorated sugar cookies and I'd be more than happy to point you in the direction of someone who does.
  4. Can I order one of each cupcake?
    At this time Midwest Treats can only accommodate orders by the 1/2 or 1 dozen for each individual flavor.
  5. How long will my cupcakes stay fresh?
    All of our treats are made from scratch without the use of preservatives. That being said, our cupcakes are best enjoyed on day of purchase. If you must store them for later use they keep best at room temperature in an air-tight container for 2-3 days. Refrigerating cupcakes may cause them to dry out. Cookies are also enjoyed best on day of purchase. However, cookies do have a longer shelf life. They'll stay soft and fresh if stored at room temperature in an air-tight container for up to a week.
  6. Do you deliver?
    Midwest Treats offers delivery service free of charge for Okawville, IL residents. If you live outside the Okawville, IL area there is a delivery fee of $10.00+ depending on location.
  7. Do you ship your treats?
    We now have a shop full of treats that have successfully passed test shipments. Unfortunately not all treats are shippable.
  8. How long will it take for my order to ship?
    Everything is made to order and baked fresh on the morning of shipment (Monday - Wednesday). These are the only days we can ship to ensure that your treats arrive as fresh as the morning they were baked. Tracking will be provided through PayPal. You should receive your order within 2-3 business days. If you need overnight shipping or if you are local and would like to set up local delivery, please contact us so that we can set something up.
  9. Do you offer returns?
    Unfortunately we cannot accept returns on food items. However, we want to make sure that you are happy. If you have a problem with your order please contact us as soon as possible so that we can make it right.
  10. What payment methods do you accept?
    Online, you can checkout securely using PayPal. If you do not have an account, PayPal allows you to checkout as guest using your debit or credit card. In person, you can pay with cash, Cashapp, Venmo, PayPal, and we also have a Square reader.
  11. Do you have any sugar free options?
    Not at the moment.
